Adventures of a Fora Travel Advisor

About Erika

I love traveling. I love seeing new places, meeting interesting people, and experiencing other cultures. Sometimes I’m solo, often I’m with my husband Wayne. We’re raising three of our seven grandchildren, so there is lots of “travel with kids” happening, too. Over the years, many people have asked me for tips and advice. While I occasionally posted about travel on Erika for President, I decided to create a blog dedicated to travel.

My day job is an Application Development Manager. There I’m a techie, a Project Management / Agile expert, and a boss to a fantastic team. After work, I fancy myself as a writer; although, my ADHD doesn’t let me finish too many projects! I do have a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Tennessee, so there’s that. My other part-time gig is travel. I make content with reviews, tips & tricks, and trip ideas just for fun. People started asking me for advice and I realized, I might just have something more to offer! So I became a Fora Travel Advisor.
